A 3D top-down game featuring a swinging goddess on a mission to free the world from capitalism
Goddess of Swing is an innovative 3D top-down action game developed by more than 60 students from the Media Informatics and Interactive Entertainment program at Mittweida University over the course of two semesters. As the lead of the Engine Department, I was responsible for implementing core game systems, optimizing performance, and developing custom shaders.
Immerse yourself in the glamorous world of the 1920s and step into the role of the Goddess of Swing! In this game, you travel through dazzling, jazzy scenes while swinging through the air with your grappling hook and defeating enemies in fast-paced battles. Use the power of swing to mark your enemies with the Swing Zone and convert them back to Electro Swing through stylish moves. Every opponent becomes part of your rhythmic dance as you prepare for the grand showdown with epic bosses.
Master the innovative physics-based swinging system to gracefully navigate through the world and defeat enemies with style and rhythm.
Face different enemies with unique attack patterns that challenge your swing mastery and combat abilities.
Almost every environmental asset is destructible when the player is swinging, creating dynamic gameplay opportunities and rewarding exploration.
Experience a world split into two parallel realities - the capitalist zone and the Swing zone, each with distinctive visuals and stunning VFX.
